Bible-Obedient
Churches Are Independent & Tax-Exempt
Bible-Obedient Churches
(BOCs) are independent, non-government-run, self-governing, mutually
submissive, and typically “unregistered”, usually unincorporated, non-secular,
God-reverencing organizations that gather on a regular basis (churches) that serve Biblical Truth by
serving the needs of the Truly poor,. BOCs fully fit the
descriptions and meet the qualifications of what the government has designated
as tax-exempt 501(c)(3) and 508(c)(1)(a) churches.
By interacting with any officers, members, other people, and/or content from any of these BOCs (in any capacity at all whatsoever), you agree that ALL of the rules throughout this document apply and govern all interactions with them, for yourself and all others, to the furthest extent possible as may be enforceable by competent law.
Serving & Empowering
the Truly Poor.
The mission of CHURCH is to serve and empower the Truly poor (beggars) with the Bible, sacred services, counseling, resources, and her very own life.
CHURCH is organized and
operates exclusively for this charitable, faith-based*, and educational
mission of Serving and Empowering the
Truly Poor.
Just as our mission is charitable
(as seen above) so our shared funds, assets, and resources are also charitable, educational, selfless,
and faith-based, in full compliance with IRS 501(c)(3) and 508(c)(1)(a).
[* “Faith-based” is legally synonimous
with and commonly referred to as “religious”; This purpose statement is within
the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) as well as 508(c)(1)(a) of the
Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or the corresponding provision of any future
United States Revenue law), including, but not limited to the descriptions
above and below herein.]
· Bible Devotionals – Daily Community Meetings
· Sunday Assembly/Church – Weekly Meetings
· Decision/"Business" Meetings – 1+ times per month (under ideal circumstances)
We provide faith-based
services on Sundays, Bible readings and/or studies and/or counseling and
discipleship training (education) almost every day throughout the week, and we
observe sacred services & practices (the Biblical alternative to
"ceremonies") for all Biblical Beggars (members and poor people).
We also have regular
Decision Meetings / “Business Meetings” for members (as seen in Decisions below).
· Prayers
· Corporate Bible reading
· Proclamation/Preaching
· Communion
· Foot Washing
· Baptism (immersion/dipping)
· Marriage
· etc.
· All of our sacred services prioritize helping the Truest Poor of the world ("beggars").
· Beggars can join these sacred services in person at the Church property or remotely over the phone and internet.
· If you are a “seeker” and/or a new first-time visitor, you can contact us ahead of time (as seen in CONSTITUTION) to confirm your plans to visit if you wish to attend, since meeting times are subject to change and may vary.
All counseling is, of course, governed by these BYLAWS (including the total suing prohibition), and of course is not involved in petty things of society (worldliness) like “licensing”, and is absolutely far removed from any scope of (any and everything considered) regulated mental health care.
Our free spiritual guidance services (“Counseling” aids) have nothing to do with condescending to the level of social licensing such as Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Psychologist, or any other similar worldly social contribution, participation, action, or activity.
If any dispute arises for any and every reason, all references to "counseling" throughout every single possible usage when interacting with us in our content or in any other related way will be deemed simple personal "advice" where the recipient voluntarily and wholeheartedly accepts all liability and responsibility for their own actions and is of course encouraged not to do anything they are uncomfortable with, unless lawfully required in some other way which has nothing to do with us and our “advice”.
minimum
governing
authority
· Pastor (s), Overseer (s), Elders – Chief executive authority
· Servants ("Deacons") – Executive assistance (with authorities and responsibilities individually & particularly assigned)
· Trustees – Assistants with advisory responsibilities, who participate & help in decision making
· These positions establish the initial local Church officers for CHURCH.
· These titles and positions sometimes overlap in the Bible, and naturally they can overlap in our Church as well.
· We are, of course, completely eager and zealous toward finding and or establishing any and all other additional positions that may eventually arise as mentioned in the Bible (such as Apostles, Prophets, etc.)
· All Church officers as well as members are encouraged to participate in making decisions (which can include voting) as discussed in Decisions.
· The pastor and all other Church leaders are established [καταστήσῃς (Tit_1:5)] (“ordained”) according to the strictest applications of the Biblical rules and standards for Church leadership.
· The founding pastor, for example, underwent 13 years of intense preparation and training before officially serving as pastor around the Biblical age of 30 (like Jesus and Jewish priests, etc.).
· Leaders are required to not only surpass the same Membership Requirements as all others (as seen below) but they are also required to meet all of the Biblical requirements for leaders.
· Virtue standards are strictest for leaders (as the Bible teaches).
· Church Officers (such as Trustees/Directors) are established by Church consensus (and may also be done by voting).
· All Church Officers are established/elected in accordance with our Constitution and Bylaws (which sets out their qualifications and duties).
· Church leadership and Church officers are established (as seen above) and can be terminated by Church decision (as seen in Decisions below).
· Church leadership positions are supposed to be life-long unless there is a serious failure that disqualifies them (weather temporarily or permanently).
· Entry-level Church officers (such as Trustees, for example) may serve limited terms and take turns (optionally), or may continue indefinitely (preferred).
· Any Church officer (Pastor, Deacon, Trustee, etc.) can resign or "retire" at any time with or without notice, however doing so in writing is preferred.
· If an officer resigns without written notice then other evidence will be sufficient, such as the morally valid testimony of “two or three witnesses” (as the Bible says), or however the Church may decide (which, in submission and obedience to the Bible, is the final and authoritative determination for this life).
· Subordinate Church officers (such as Servants/Deacons) are typically selected by the Church in cooperation with senior leadership (such as senior pastor, elders, etc., as seen in Acts 6), and because of this they can also be terminated in the same way whenever required or absolutely necessary.
· The Unanimous consensus (100%) of the Church may depose or terminate virtually any leadership (senior, subordinate leader, or officer) if absolutely necessary, however termination that is forced or involuntary of senior leadership requires indisputable proof of Bible disobedience (or other clear and serious/major Biblical disqualification), including the testimony of “two or three witnesses” (as the Bible says).
· The Church itself cannot depose or terminate any leader or officer against the will of their superior leader (unless it also terminates that superior leader).
· All known, valid Bible Obedient Churches (BOCs) are listed at www.TrueConnection.org/Churches.
· All BOCs are therefore authorized to determine and establish the membership of their potential members.
· CHURCH is a BOC, and therefore it and its officers are authorized with the authority to determine membership.
Anyone seriously begging
for the Bible, spiritual help, and discipleship can join CHURCH.
CHURCH membership is
decided, established, and Decisions).
Valid and recognized Bible obeyers are approved and considered members (usually) after baptism by CHURCH officer or member, and/or CHURCH decision.
All members are required to
believe, agree, and obey all of CHURCH’s disciplined rules, high standards, and
Biblical beliefs, as seen herein and in other related documents.
Sinning Immediately
Terminates Membership
Apostasy, liberalizing,
living in sin, not obeying all the Bible (see all of the examples below),
unrepentance, and such like result in immediate termination of membership,
without any further action required by CHURCH or anyone else. CHURCH membership
is automatically terminated (without any other needed procedure at all) if any
member continuously goes against the Bible, no longer attends services, joins
another church, or in any other way exhibits apostasy and/or other rebellion
(etc.).
Permanent
Responsibilities to CHURCH’s Best Interests
Members are required to
“count the cost” (Luk_14:25-35) BEFORE joining CHURCH, therefore former
members have already permanently and irrevocably bound themselves to use, and
stay faithful and True to, logic, foresight, and continued and consistent
integrity, and faithfulness to CHURCH’s best interests, and to defend and
harmless all associations with CHURCH and its officers and members, and to not
change their mind for the rest of their life. And therefore former members
completely wave and are not entitled to any rights against CHURCH including any
form or compensation (at all whatsoever) if they are removed, as seen herein
(as seen in the suing prohibition
mentioned below). Therefore, removed members hereby automatically,
simultaneously, and retroactively forfeit and wave all legal, social, and moral
rights, privileges, and prerogatives in any way associated with and against
CHURCH, and shall legally be as if they never joined CHURCH to begin with,
except that former members are in no way legally allowed to betray, and/or turn
against their confidentiality and fiduciary responsibilities to CHURCH -- which
shall continue to be binding to always use all advantages and opportunities
toward the best benefit of CHURCH, even after Apostasy and/or changing their
mind and/or otherwise having been removed and/or terminated
(as
described herein).
The Total Suing
Prohibition Applies Here As Well
The total suing prohibition (mentioned below) is a
mandatory prerequisite for membership or any interaction with CHURCH,
and it applies permanently (it is life-long and in the broadest sense
possible), and will survive and continue to be fully binding (legally and
morally) even after membership might be terminated (if a member apostates
and/or was excommunicated, for example).
Removal from Meetings
All Church officers
(including but not limited to pastors, deacons, trustees, etc.) are authorized,
according to their assigned jurisdiction and rank, to remove any member or
visitor from any meeting (or “assembly”) and even from CHURCH property entirely
if they determine (in their sole discretion) that anyone is being disruptive,
threatening or contradictory in any way at all whatsoever (especially since our
services are only for beggars who want what we’re doing to help them).
Biblical (and moral)
Marriage is one man, one wife, for life.
All sexual activity outside
of Biblically lawful marriage is sexual murder and is therefore of the worst sort
of hate crimes against God and man.
Sexual activity before and
outside of marriage includes adultery, fornication/prostitution, flirting, lust
(visual, emotional, etc.), immodesty (i.e. displaying the sexual features of
the body in public), kissing, holding hands, masturbation (all deliberate
independent or non-marital sexual pleasure, indulgence, and orgasms),
homosexuality, pedophilia, bestiality, and all other sexual sins specifically
condemned in the Bible and their like.
Divorce (from a morally lawful
spouse) is never permitted except for "a word of prostitution".
[λόγου
πορνείας (Greek of Mat_5:31-32;
{Mat_19:9 in some MSS}; Deu_22:20-21, etc.)]
Remarriage is never
permitted except after death.
Divorce and remarriage is
adultery and therefore leaving adulterous remarriage (repentance by social
divorce) is required from all adulterous remarriage.
· Modesty is required including clothing that covers from knees to elbows to collarbone (minimum) and/or ankles to wrists to collarbone (preferred).
· Women’s bodies are extra delicate, precious, special, and holy, and are therefore required to wear a head covering and are to generally cover even more than men.
· All members and visitors are required to cover sexually distinctive features with clothing as much as possible.
None of our members are
willing to sin, therefore involving any of our members or their children
(whether married or unmarried) in flirting, seduction, and/or other lust or
romance outside of lawful marriage (visually, emotionally, or otherwise) is
absolutely forbidden (in person, over the phone, digitally, by email or
texting, or by other means). This prohibition includes being intentionally
alone with someone appealing.
Marriage is to be
accomplished without sin by submitting to all authorities (including
presiding/active parents and Church leadership) and treating all potentials as
“brothers” and “sisters” with extra purity boundaries and protections (i.e.
“all holy-purity” – 1Ti_5:2).
As a Bible-obedient Church,
we have a zero tolerance for sexual murder, as much as possible. There is no
point at all to any faith at all whatsoever without purity (i.e. perfect
morality). All continual sexual sin results in immediate termination of
membership and leadership. All confessed and permanently renounced sin is also
forgiven (“sent away”) by us as well. Temptations are, of course, not treated
as sin if the victim is resisting the temptation.
If a limited and small subset
of certain moral hate crimes also happen to be illegal (if we are aware that
they are against the civil law, such as child abuse and sexual abuse) then it
is our general goal to report them*. If you do
not want to risk any certain friend, family member, and/or other involved
person going to jail for socially illegal sexual crimes, then don’t tell us
(although we still urge you to take decisive action yourself to report them
and/or at least assure the safety of all potential victims)! We avoid involvement
in socially illegal issues as much as possible and we are legally, socially,
and morally not responsible if anyone involves us in confusing, unclear, or
otherwise liable situations against our will (as seen in Suing
below).
We are doing our best (good
faith effort) to obey all civil and moral laws, and if you have any legal
advice or council or know how we might handle any of these sensitive matters
better, then please get in contact with us (and if you do, you are waving all
rights to in any way risk incriminating us, and you are committing yourself to
a legally fiduciary responsibility to indemnify and protect CHURCH and all
officers and members)!
[* Confessed Crimes Against Victims: The civil law of each state often
requires “clergyman” to report sexual abuse, but it often does not require
reporting in the context of confidential confession (“penitential
communication” in a “clergy-penitent” privileged/private/confidential context).
This “clergy privilage” may or may not affect our reporting of sexual crimes
depending on known local laws, how safe victems are, and how permanently and
Biblically repentant the confessor is.
Women are not allowed to
speak in assembly (i.e. Church services and similar social functions), teach or
usurp their own will (authority) over men, and are required to be as gentle,
humble, submissive, meek, and quiet as possible (other than imitating the
proactive examples of Miriam, Deborah, and other wise
women, prophetesses, and matriarchs in the Bible, etc.)
All forms of murder and
killing of humans are absolutely forbidden, including abortion (intentionally
killing the unborn), euthanasia, suicide, etc. (This murder prohibition
includes forbidding risk of murder, such as abortion pills.)
Just as our mission is charitable
(as seen above) so our shared
funds, assets, and resources are
also charitable, educational, selfless, and faith-based, in full compliance
with IRS 501(c)(3) and 508(c)(1)(a).
None of the Church’s money,
As is commonly the case
with charitable organizations: No part of
the net earnings of the Church shall inure to the benefit of, or be
distributable to, its members, directors, officers, or other private persons,
except that the Church shall be authorized and empowered to pay reasonable
compensation for services rendered and to make payments and distributions in
furtherance of the tax-exempt purposes of the Church.
And although CHURCH is
authorized to pay reasonable compensation, it also may in fact choose not to do
so, as partly seen below.
All leadership and members of our Church are committed to maintaining self-denial and shunning luxury and lavish living, including stored up personal wealth and riches (Mat_6, etc.). CHURCH leadership and sometimes members seek to live extra selflessly and sacrificially in serving others by (generally) owning as little personal property and funds as possible (by default, unless required otherwise) while the community meets all of their legitimate needs. This is essentially socially synonymous with and often legally described as a "vow of poverty" (although the New Testament forbids vows, yet it endorses faith-based commitments like this).
We only allow ourselves to use nice things when they are required in order to obey Bible verses and to complete our mission. (Examples: the Bible commands rejoicing at appointed times and in appointed ways, such as Holy Marriage, and we need the right tools to grow food to feed the poor, create educational content, and to seek to “save the world”, etc.)
Shunning personal wealth, and
prioritizing our charitable mission does not, and
shall not be construed to, limit or hinder CHURCH and/or its members from
generating funds (as much as possible).
For example, the creation, collaboration, and support of businesses that align with CHURCH’s charitable mission can enhance gifts to the poor, give back to the community, and otherwise fund CHURCH’s charitable mission, and therefore shall be recognized as selfless and toward the common good, and as such, all virtuous income generation shall be defended, protected, and encouraged as much as may be legally allowed.
(Notwithstanding, CHURCH
itself seeks to particularly avoid Unrelated Business Income (UBI) within its
own operations as much as possible.)
It is normal and customary
for Bible obedient churches to appoint one or two initial trustees for each
trust and then through voting and various terms to appoint additional trustees
as seen best at various seasons and times of need. The fact that one trustee or
two trustees may initially appear on a trust shall not be misconstrued to
suggest that each trust only has this limited number of initial trustees, since
it is normal and customary among Bible obedient churches to initially appoint
one or two trustees at the beginning of the trust and thereafter to appoint additional
trustees as are necessary and requisite or otherwise needed during various
terms of service as may seem necessary and available (as decided by CHURCH).
By
default CHURCH intends to keep property
and finances in separate trusts (especially whenever practically available
useful), unless TRUSTEES and/or CHURCH decide otherwise. This is considered normal and standard practice for various
reasons including general Separation of Assets, Compliance, &
possible tax benefits if applicable. It also enables unique and particular managerial procedures and processes
to be applied to each trust which are decided to be most appropriate and practically helpful for each
respective asset.
As already said and established,
CHURCH property and all CHURCH assets do not go to the benefit of any private
individual or party, and are not used for profit generating activities, but are
instead owned by the members jointly
True to CHURCH’s hatred of
money, CHURCH members have sacrificed to buy Church property. CHURCH generally
puts CHURCH property in a Land TRUST (as seen below in Decisions)
Upon any potential sale of
CHURCH’s property or assets, its agents are committed to seek for the funds to
be:
· Put in a Church bank account (ideally, if available), and/or...
· Used for the purchase of a new Church property (as essentially seen in the Dissolution Clause below), and/or...
·
Used to accomplish the
corporate mission of the church: to serve
and empower real poor beggars.
(The application of these decisions is to be carried out in the standard way as seen below in Decisions).
Time-Critical Sales Are
Acceptable
CHURCH recognizes that some
important transactions like the selling of property requires an awareness that time
is of the essence, and as long as the Overseer or other CHURCH officer or
agent (for example, TRUSTEE and/or manager) in charge has done their best
effort to make known sale and purchase options to CHURCH, yet thereafter,
especially if there are no objections, and ideally if there are no concerns,
then Overseer or CHURCH officer and/or TRUSTEE may proceed swiftly and quickly
to secure the successful sale or purchase of CHURCH property whenever it best
serves CHURCH’s charitable mission.
Sale of Church property
does NOT require a full business meeting with council and minutes to be taken
(especially when not practically available) as long as it is generally
understood that CHURCH officer or other responsible party selling property has
done their best effort to communicate options and possibilities to CHURCH and
there are no reasonable objections or significant concerns that should prohibit
moving forward with the purchase and/or sale of CHURCH property or other CHURCH
asset. Any judgment calls (and “retrospects”) will
otherwise seek to follow standard decision procedures and by no means will (under any case) be subject
to external third party judgments or over-rulings or
incriminations. All accountability is to be internal according to the usual decision-making process of
Bible Obedient Churches.
Different Name; Same
Mission
The Church is NOT required
to keep the same name or bank account after the sale of its property or any
other assets, even if this is seen as a full and/or partial dissolution
of the local CHURCH entity and property.
The sale of said property or CHURCH assets
may be deposited into the original CHURCH’s name or any other Bible Obedient
Church, since they are committed to the same goals and principles and missions,
and fulfill the original intent and purpose sufficiently in order to buy other
CHURCH assets or church buildings or otherwise fulfill the CHURCH's mission
according to the standard decision-making process.
Limitation of Liability
for Sale of CHURCH Property
Any involved CHURCH officer
or Overseer will by no means be incriminated or liable for the sale and/or
transfer of CHURCH goods or assets (including Land) as long as the sale
maintains the original mission and spirit of Bible obedience toward the same
goals and mission of CHURCH, and will only be accountable to the examination
and scrutiny and approval of approved Churches and or groups who have been
fully integrated as Bible Obedient Churches in the same fellowship and with the
same binding rules.
The Sale of Property
(described above) and the Dissolution Clause (described below) operate
in the exact same way with the exact same rules, responsibilities, and
privileges.
Transferring Assets to a New Tax Exempt Organization
Just like the Sale of Property
(described above) if CHURCH is ever formally and/or informally dissolved (in any
way), after paying or making provision for payment of all its liabilities,
CHURCH will seek to dispose of all of its remaining assets to the closest
matching available organization possible at that time (a Church or otherwise
tax exempt organization which most closely matches CHURCH’s Mission),
which is formed and operated exclusively for faith-based purposes as will at
the time qualify as an exempt organization or organizations under Section
508(c)(1)(a) and/or 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or the
corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law).
(This must be carried out
in the standard way, as much as possible, as seen below in Decisions).
· Church meetings, councils, votes, and decisions primarily take place Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
· Decision Meetings / “Business Meetings” typically happen once or twice a month (if not more).
· Special meetings may take place any day of the week.
· Meetings can take place both in person on Church property and remotely over the phone and internet.
· All Church members and officers are encouraged to participate and help with decision making.
· Men take the lead in decision making, but women are encouraged to share, contribute, and participate as well.
· Almost all of our decisions are made by simply obeying what God says: reading and studying the Bible, praying and listening, and sometimes waiting for someone to raise up with Biblical wisdom from above.
· No one is allowed to disagree with what God says and simultaneously be a member or officer of our Church, so making decisions by simply agreeing with what God says is almost always simple and easy for our Church.
· Biblical Churches very rarely struggle with agreeing with what God has already said, since that is the foundation of their faith, unlike Cultural Christianity.
· There are plenty of times where the great Patriarchs, Prophets, and even Apostles in the Bible struggled to hear and/or know what God was currently saying (about a new, current, and/or particular issue), and in such cases we take very careful and meticulous counsel to make the right decision (as seen in Acts 15, etc.).
· All judgments, determinations, explanations, clarifications, "interpretations", applications of faith and practice (including these and any other related governing and operational documents) and overall general decision making are made by Church consensus and/or council (preferred), and possibly voting, and/or possibly executive action (if necessary/constrained).
· The purpose of Biblical voting is to explicitly determine consensus whenever clarity is most needed.
· Voting is not required as long as the Church can reach consensus, although we may still choose to vote anyway for the purpose of record keeping.
· Voting in person, remotely, and by proxy are all encouraged.
· All members and officers can vote, especially if they are above 12 years of age, unless it involves critical social or legal matters and/or societal or other constraints require them to be above 18 years of age when deciding on such issues.
· In the worst case scenarios, we may be constrained to rely on (1) a 2/3 majority vote or even (2) executive action if voting results are insufficient and time and/or other necessity constrains us to make decisions while we are still waiting to know what God says. (This is unusual for us and is avoided if at all reasonably possible.)
The Kingdom of Heaven is not a Democracy but a Theocracy, however making “group choices” and even voting are nevertheless repeatedly mentioned in the Bible, as if they are a normal and accepted part of formally monotheistic societies (Deu_1:6, Deu_1:13, etc. (comp. Exo_18:17-21); Act_6:3-7; In a very bad sense: Act_7:58; Act_8:1; Act_22:20; Act_26:10 (κατήνεγκα ψῆφον); (and Job_34:1-4, etc.) ).
Whoever moderates has authority to determine the rules of order and may remove unruly members and visitors (in their sole discretion, according to their rank, as seen in Membership).
(A) Corporate Decisions: Most all decisions that affect the general CHURCH body are
made by unanimous consensus whenever possible. In such cases, “everyone” in the
Church decides what to do and participates in decision making.
(B) Individuals &
Teams: Some matters (like
specialized matters)
can be assigned to individual members or
teams/"committees" to decide.
(C) Executive Action: Pastors,
Elders, and possibly established CHURCH Servants/Deacons and other appointed
leaders are authorized to make executive decisions whenever required, each
according to their individually assigned & established rank and
jurisdiction. (All CHURCH leaders seek as much accountability for their
decisions as possible from CHURCH, especially when available, including their
executive decisions, as seen below.)
(D) No Outside Interference: All governance and interpersonal judgments are made internally by CHURCH, especially by CHURCH leadership, and shall not be disrupted in any way as much as possible and to the fullest extent permissible by valid law.
(i) No Discipline Interference
If anyone disobeys the
Bible by making any inappropriate exceptions, decisions (including executive
decisions), or violations against our documents or rules, it is CHURCH’s sole
and exclusive prerogative to deal with all inappropriate decisions internally
as much as possible, and make any possibly needed corrections and/or restitutions
(if available and necessary), and/or excommunications (if necessary) without
any 3rd party outside interference at all whatsoever, unless
requested by CHURCH decision and/or its officers, or required by legitimate
competent law.
(ii) Authority of Obeyers -- is Authoritative & NOT
to be Interfered With
Those who continue to obey all the Bible have been declared canonical and made sufficient by Him who wrote it, so that they might even judge Angels (1st Corinthians 5-6, etc.), and therefore these same people are the only qualified and reliable people of Truth and integrity on the earth to judge those who have come under the protection, authority, and council of Bible obedience as seen in CHURCH.
All members of CHURCH consider these operational documents and the Bible-Obedient judgments of CHURCH and CHURCH leadership to be sufficient for all matters of judgment, decision making, and conflict resolution, and all members of CHURCH forbid any and all external interference and third party intrusion, restriction, obstruction, and hindrance at all whatsoever, whenever possible.
(iii) No Disruption of
CHURCH Authority Allowed
Nothing said herein or in related
documents will be misconstrued to represent, establish, or support any external
limitation, persecution, oppression, grief, trouble, opposition, competition,
damage, loss, threat, danger, or constraint on or against the decisions, success, peace, tranquility, and free operation of our
Church, its members, and leaders by third parties and external entities,
including (but not limited to) secular institutions,
apostate/liberalized/excommunicated church people (or even "former
members"), and those who otherwise do not believe in us, our Church, and
our mission in general.
(see
Suing
below)
· Typical churches often say that “the Bible is the final authority”.
· BOCs say that The Word of God is the only final ultimate absolute authority, including everything God says, such as prophecy, and especially the Bible, and any perfect and obedient Truth that is yet to come.
· BOCs OBEY the Bible by insisting that everything God says is absolutely authoritative, especially including the Bible, as well as those who validly obey it (as best determined by CHURCH decision)
· BOCs are all bound to the Bible’s teaching that Bible Obedience is inspired, canonical, and perfectly authoritative, and is the only way to obediently understand and apply everything the Bible is saying.
· The Bible clearly teaches that it is always to be understood in the exclusive and sole context of those obeying it (i.e. BOCs, especially as determined by CHURCH decision).
· Only those who are obeying all the Bible can determine what is right and True for those who are bound to obey all the Bible.
· All of those who interact with BOCs are fully bound to believe and permanently entrust that BOCs (including CHURCH decision) are the very best and solely authoritative way to unlock the Scriptures and determine and apply all of their rules.
All references to the Bible herein, including implicit and explicit Bible references are fully incorporated herein just as if quoted, even if they are simply referenced. In fact, in the exact same way, the entire Bible is expressly incorporated herein, and is fully integrated into these Bylaws, as may best be translated and applied by CHURCH decision and/or any CHURCH officer’s translation and/or reading from Hebrew and Greek and/or the best, most literal English version as may be available at that time (deferring to the RTA whenever available).
Therefore
if any dispute arises in any form at all whatsoever (including, but not limited
to, arbitration or even court or class action, or any other personal or other
dispute in any other form) the Bible will be quoted and obeyed, in its most
obedient, clean, moral, literal, historical (pre 325 AD) way possible, by those
most obeying it (especially as determined by CHURCH decision), as infinitely and absolutely
resolving of any and all disputes.
The entire Bible will be considered as absolutely
authoritative, especially as quoted, taught, and applied by a Bible obeyer, and will be considered as absolutely binding and
authoritative in any and every dispute at all whatsoever to the furthest extent
permissible by law, and in no case will any attempt to be made to circumvent,
limit, slow down, suppress, oppress, oppose, or in any other way sensor or
diminish reading the Bible as the absolute authority to resolve disputes, and
in no event will anyone opposed to a BOC (including anyone opposing and or not
explicitly approving of any officer or member of a BOC) be construed to be
validly quoting or applying the Bible in any honest or truthful attempt, and
will be considered invalid and most likely deceptive when trying to quote the
Bible to circumvent slow down disrupt oppose or in any way depreciate or not
fully believe and support the Bible, Bible obedience, and/or a Bible obeyer or BOC.
Just as said above, the Bible will be
quoted by a Bible obeyer (as seen in Membership), even
at length if needed, as the absolute solution and satisfying resolution to any
and all disputes, and will NOT be quoted by non-members to resolve disputes,
and if a non-member nonetheless quotes it, including a prosecutor or even a judge,
especially one who is not supporting a BOC’s cause, their quotes will be
considered invalid and suspect of deception and fully subject to
cross-examination and correction by an obeyer, and
will hold no force at all whatsoever unless validated by CHURCH decision.
Suing Prohibition
· All suing is prohibited and all legal and moral rights to sue are perpetually and forever waved by visitors, members, and leadership, especially when interacting with CHURCH in any capacity as much as possible (as seen above and below), unless otherwise morally required by known law (as decided by CHURCH).
· This suing prohibition will survive all changes and situations and will perpetually continue to be legally and morally binding with the broadest application possible.
· Suing is forbidden and therefore anyone who participates or interacts with CHURCH must permanently waive all rights to sue.
· Suing is especially forbidden (permanently waved as seen herein) against any recognized member or leader CHURCH.
· This suing prohibition includes things like participating in sacred services, getting any advice, counsel, or prayer, viewing our writings or media, or setting foot on the Church's campus/property, etc.
· If anyone objects to this permanent and total suing prohibition they are not allowed to attend any of our services, interact with our Church, read any of our materials, listen to any of our recordings or phone calls, or watch any videos or media we might make, etc.
· The sole remedy (legal or otherwise) of anyone who disagrees with this suing prohibition is to withdraw all interactions with CHURCH and its members and act as if none of them ever existed (as seen herein).
· Dispute Resolution: Instead of and in place of suing all participants who interact in any capacity with our Church (as seen above) will voluntarily submit to and automatically be bound to the Church decision process (described above) which will constitute our implementation and version of Alternative Dispute Resolution (Binding Arbitration) and such participants will have perpetually and forever waved all rights to seek any other remedy (legal or otherwise) at all whatsoever (other than forgiveness and prayer) outside of our Church government as described in this document.
·
Making Exceptions:
We currently do not expect or anticipate or know of any exceptions to this
suing prohibition, however we reserve the right to make exceptions if any special
cases arise (such as being constrained to participate in legal proceedings),
and these will be determined by CHURCH council (preferred) or executive
action (if necessary/constrained, as seen
in Decisions above).
·
Exceptions
Are Unlikely: it is extremely unlikely for
CHURCH or its members to ever come upon an exception that requires them to be
involved in taking someone to court, but if there was an abnormal exceptional situation
that required court, it would likely involved things like (but not necessarily
limited to) defending the oppressed, stopping sexual crimes, and/or similar
moral constraints.
Limitations of Liability are Maximized as Much as Possible
·
The suing prohibition (above) includes absolutely
limiting our liability (for all CHURCH members and valid participants) as much
as possible, to the furthest extent possible (legally, socially, morally, and
otherwise).
·
Besides
already being limited and restricted against all suing and liability, we will
be even further immune to all responsibility if a critic/opponent/faultfinder
does not make use of the “sole remedy” and “Dispute Resolution” mentioned
above.
·
Neglecting
our remedies and resolutions means that a critic not only can’t sue anyone, but
it also means that he can’t even complain or express morally and logically
valid dissatisfaction.
·
We
avoid involvement in socially illegal issues as much as possible and we are
legally, socially, and morally not responsible if anyone involves us in
confusing, unclear, or otherwise liable situations against our will.
·
If
anyone fails to fully empower us (morally, logically, legally, intellectually,
in good conscious, or otherwise) to take decisive action, then all
responsibility will fall back upon the one finding fault.
·
All
church members and valid participants will be perpetually and forever cleared
of and free from all responsibility, liability, fault, debt, and consequences to
the furthest extent possible (as seen above) unless determined otherwise by our
Church (as seen in Decisions
above).
[Parallelism: Biblical parallelism is being used here, just as it is
throughout the Bible. All statements herein explain each other by parallelism, and no statement will be
misconstrued in any way to say anything different than its parallel
counterpart, but instead will be complementary and synergistic.]
Bible Rules of
Individual Responsibility
· Deu_24:16; 2Ki_14:6; Eze_18 – Each one will die for their own sin
· Gal_6:5 – Each one will bear their own load
Shortest Definition of
Individual Responsibility
Individual Responsibility = Each individual is directly and solely responsible for their own actions to the furthest extent possible as may be enforceable by competent law.
Applications of
Individual Responsibility
(A) Based on this clear and
binding Biblical principle, rule, and moral precedent of Individual
Responsibility (as defined herein), (B) If there are any tangible and/or
intangible liabilities that arise from this of Individual Responsibility,
(C) notwithstanding the suing
prohibition (above), (D) each individual (each
agent, attendee, and/or other person) is completely responsible for
their own actions, and will bear complete and full
responsibility for any potential consequences, including (but not
limited to) ALL LIABILITY, DAMAGE (BODILY, OR OTHERWISE), & RISK (tangible
and intangible, and in every possible sense of these words), and (E) in no
event (besides CHURCH decision) will shared responsibility or liability
by association be assigned or permitted, unless otherwise required by
morally valid law, and as decided by CHURCH (as much as possible), and similarly (F) in no event will any action (including but not limited to risk, damage,
and liability as seen herein) be applied and/or reapplied back to CHURCH,
CHURCH assets, leadership, representatives, or other members as much as
possible, remembering to uphold this moral rule and goal that each one will
bear their own load (seen above).
Remember: Any and all persons at all whatsoever who choose to interact with CHURCH (by communication and/or by being in person on CHURCH property, and/or by other means) are exclusively submitting themselves to CHURCH decision, and are accepting that CHURCH is the sole and most qualified authority to decide liability in these matters (as much as permissible by law), despise and irrespective of unproven suspicions and even potential risks of conflict of interest, as repeatedly stated throughout these Bylaws.
Unlikely exceptions that CHURCH might (but is not required to) determine and/or decide to assign shared liability, include (but are not limited to): (A) Guardianship (such as parents and other dependents), (B) Spouses (as potentially required by Num 30), and (C) morally similar (and/or comparable) situations and requirements, as exclusively decided by CHURCH (as it may become aware of, and decide on at that time).
These operational documents
and procedures are established here to give as much legal freedom as possible
while simultaneously establishing internal accountability for the governance of
our Church. Our Church is socially and legally autonomous and self-governing in
all matters of right and wrong (we are submissive and obedient subjects of the
Kingdom of Heaven and its inviolable Divine King), and therefore all
interference at all whatsoever by outsiders is forbidden as much as possible
(as seen in Decisions above), unless otherwise morally
required by known law (civil or moral).
each statement is to be construed in light of the other
synonymous and parallel statements to the maximum benefit and protection
possible for our church.
each
Our Church and our Church
leadership reserves the moral, social, and legal right to make exceptions,
amendments, changes, and clarifications to any of these and all related
operational procedures and governing documents at any time with or without
notice, with or without explanation, as seen fit, at their sole discretion (as
seen in Decisions above).
Failure to Enforce Not a Waiver (Legal
Notice): The failure to enforce (and/or any delay to enforce) at any time any
provision of our rules will in no way be construed to constitute a waiver of
that provision, rule, or of any other provision of our rules, nor shall a
single or partial exercise or application of any of our rules preclude or
disqualify any other future application, use, or exercise, or any available
remedy. (The Church may delay or forego enforcing any of its rights, rules, or
remedies as seen in these governing documents without losing them.)
Published updates to our governing documents
(such as posting on our website) are effective immediately, and likewise any
Church member or officer may request changes at any time so that the best good
faith diligent effort can be made to assure and maintain consensus (that all
members are satisfied).
This Constitution and these Bylaws may be revised and updated from time to time and at any time (as described above and below). The most authoritative and up-to-date version should always be consulted.
This document and related
documents are primarily for internal use but may also be used externally if
needed and authorized.
The purpose of this
document is to briefly summarize WHAT we do and HOW we do it. If you are eager
and thoughtful enough to want to know more about WHY we believe and practice
these things and to see the Biblical proof of WHY these things are mandatory
for all Bible obeyers, then by all means get in contact with us!
